What should an FRP grating quote request include?

  • Drawings or a cutting list: paste a link to a shared folder (Dropbox, Google Drive or OneDrive); the form does not take uploads
  • Product: molded or pultruded, depth, mesh or bar type; see fiberglass grating for the options
  • Quantity in sq ft, or panel count and size
  • Clear span, design load and deflection limit, checked against the load tables
  • Chemicals, service temperature and outdoor exposure, which decide the resin
  • Surface (grit or concave top), color, and clips or stair treads
  • Destination ZIP or postal code, need-by date, and how the project is funded

Frequently asked questions

Can I request a quote for a project that is still out to bid?

Yes. Say in the notes that the project is at bid stage and give the bid and award dates, so the price can be confirmed again before you order if the award comes later.

Can I ask for a price delivered to my site?

Yes: ask for DDP (delivered duty paid) in the notes. A DDP price includes ocean freight, US duty and delivery to the named place, while an FOB price covers only the goods loaded at the Chinese port. Every quote states its Incoterm and date.

Do you quote projects in Canada?

Yes; enter a Canadian postal code as the destination. As of Oct 2026, Canada’s general (MFN) duty on tariff item 3925.90 is 6.5%; confirm it with a Canadian customs broker.
