Since May 2, 2025, de minimis duty-free entry has been suspended for goods from China, and it was still suspended as of Oct 2026, so a sample from Nantong needs a customs entry and pays duty like any other import. Your licensed customs broker or the courier can confirm the charges.

Do you need a sample for a project submittal?
Often: US guide specifications for section 06 74 13 require samples of each product type with the submittal. If your sample is for a submittal, name the specification section and the products in the notes. See fiberglass grating specifications.
When is a pilot order better than a sample?
When you need to check full panels, packing and installation, not just the material. A pilot order is a normal order: under about 500 sq ft it goes to a US stocking importer under our routing rule, and larger ones get a factory quote.

A sample ships by courier from Nantong and needs a US customs entry before it is delivered, so give the date you need it by in the notes field. The reply confirms dispatch and the courier.
Will my production order match the sample I approved?
Keep your approved sample and name it in your purchase order, so the order confirmation refers to it as the reference for color and surface.
Can I sample more than one resin, color or surface?
